CENTRES FOR DISEASE CONTROL (CDC)
Safer Power Group was awarded alongside Afbau General this key project in the Biosafety and Biotechnology field. The scope included design and build Standard American CDC Laboratory. Safer Power's scope included: Design and construction of a biosafety level 3 laboratory, delivery and installation of specialized machines for the laboratory, mechanical ducting, 20-ton Carrier Air Handling unit (AHU), 5.5kW centrifugal extractor fans, 100 KVA online UPS, integrated restricted system. Construction of epoxy flooring and walls, special ceiling to withstand negative pressure of up to 50pa. Automation of the entire system with remote HMI.
KENYA MEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE (KEMRI)
Safer Power Group was awarded this project during Covid-19 period to upgrade KEMRI laboratories. This included the following scope: Design, supply and installation of sophisticated HVAC systems, 1No. 300kVA Delta Voltage Stabilizer, 1No. 100kVA Delta UPS, 1No. 60kVA Delta UPS, BMS access control compliant with BMBL standards, 1No. 300kVAR capacitor bank, 1No. 1000A main distribution board for CPHR center, Integrating Air Handling Units (AHU), Packaged Units, and VRF systems.
